About Artist - Shinji Yamamoto

About Artist - Shinji Yamamoto

Shinji Yamamoto Born in Fukuoka Prefecture and raised in Mie Prefecture. He began his career as an illustrator right after graduating from Nihon University College of Art.In 2008, utilizing his meticulously detailed, colorful, and warm artistic style, he published a seek-and-find picture book, which launched his career as a children's book author.

Since then, his works have been published overseas as picture books and toys, expanding the scope of his activities. Beyond illustrations, he also creates three-dimensional objects for commercials and NHK children's programs, and in recent years has published collaborative works with the popular comic "ONE PIECE." He continues to express his unique world by creating exciting works for both adults and children.
